Special function to mark Martyrdom Day of the Martyrs of 23rd March

Youth organization PAHAL organized a special function to mark Martyrdom Day of the Martyrs of 23rd March in Vivekanand Park here in Jalandhar. Homage was paid to Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajgur and Sukhdev. The Drama team of S. Hansa Singh Navchintan Kala Manch Beas presented “Basanti Chola” and “Mitti Rudan Kare” plays directed by Krantipal singh. Mr. Vikramjit Singu, Dinesh Kumar, Chamkaur Singh, Kapil, Tarunpreet Singh, Jatin Maheta, Ms Harmesh kaur Jodha and Sikander Singh acted in these plays.

Prof. Lakhbir Singh President PAHAL said that India is passing through critical times of transition and martyrdom anniversaries going to be a fashion. The actual need in to concentrate on the practical ideology of the National Martyrs for the training of the 52 million or more youth of India these days. He added that only motivated youth can save the India from Drugs, HIV/AIDS, Sex selection, Pollution etc. It is the time to pay Homage to martyrs of dedicated efforts and visionary actions.

The one act plays also depicted the subjects with historical depiction of National events of freedom struggle. Mr Gurdeep Singh Nagra Counsellor Ward 39, Mr. K.S. Bal President V.N. Park, Mr. Simak, S. Joga Singh Retd. Distt. Industries officer, S.G.S. Pannu, NRI Sukhdev Singh Veghal, Sarpanch Mohan Lal, Mrs. Harvinder Kaur, Prof. Kamaldeep Singh V.P. PAHAL, Navtej Singh along with 300 resident of different colonies were present there.
