PAHAL organised VOLUNTARY BLOOD DONATION CAMP IN lovely professional university . Dr. Swarn Singh Walia Civil Surgeon Jalandhar inaugurated the camp along with Dr. Ajay Sahni Distt Medical Commissioner and Mrs. RashmiMittal Executive Dean LPU while honouring the doners with badges and momentoes.

Dr. Walia said that the blood policy of india envisages the provision of 100% voluntary donated blood, but till date we are able to mobalize only 30% of our total need od blood. Prof Lakhbir singh said that education and awareness amongst youth and masses can help to inhance the voluntary blood donation. Till date there are a number of misscinceptions regarding blood donation.Punjab needs about one lac units of blood in a year, but voluntary donation is far behind the target.

In this camp 201 boys and girls donatrd blood. AMONG OTHERS WHO WERE THERE ARE Sh. Mohan Lal, Sh. Baljit Singh, Ms. Grifin,Mr. Pritpal Pahal Members. Dr. Gagandeep Singh BTO jalandhar along with his team collected blood.
