Under the campaign SVEEP, PAHAL MEMBERS under the patronage and guidance of DEO cum Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar worked for guiding voters casting their vote and helped disabled and old people to reach polling

Prof. Lakhbir Singh President PAHAL told that PAHAL trained their members to assist physically challenged and old age people do not feel comfortable to come to the polling booth because of distance they need to walk to reach poling both, so we need to assist those people and make them proud voters. PAHAL provided volunteers to assist at around eight polling booths. First in the morning volunteers casted their own vote than they assisted physically challenged and old people to reach poling both in wheel chair. Among others there were Mr. Anup Aryan, Gaurav Thakur, Himanshu Yadav, Ramesh Kumar, Abhishek Khandelwal, Abhishek Bhartiya, Kushwant Singh Chahal, Gagan Sharma,Raj Kumar, Ms. Rachna, Manjinder and Pawandeep Kaur were volunteer for the assistance. They worked at DAVIET booths and in GGSSS Nehru Garden Jalandhar
